Kathmandu, Pokhara & Chitwan Round Tour: Trip Overview

Kathmandu Pokhara Chitwan Tour is an exciting and popular trip to Nepal. The first is a cultural tour through the Kathmandu valley. The valley is a melting pot of people of different cultures and religions. In most cases, Hindus and Buddhists live in this capital, Nepal. Explore the art and architecture of the inner century during a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu. Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Changunarayan temples are seven UNESCO sites listed World Heritage List. To cover all these destinations, you must manage two full days.

After a sightseeing tour to Kathmandu, you will drive to the natural reward destinations: Pokhara and Sarangkot. The sunrise views of the Sarangkot, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Manaslu Himalayan chains may attract you. The surrounding hillside itself is spectacular. The paragliding tour is another exciting adventure for Sarangkot. Pokhara Sightseeing offers a unique experience in the natural environment. As a rewarding activity, you can take a boat trip on Phewa Lake. The Jungle Safari Tour of Chitwan National Park is the last event of the Kathmandu PokharaTour package. Safari in the elephant jungle, bird watching, canoe trips, jungle walks and more. This is a wonderful trip to explore the wildlife, including the real Bengal tiger and the unicorn rhinoceros. Then, return to Kathmandu and leave.

Outline Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu, transfer to hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing.

Day 03: Fly/drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara and drive to Sarangkot.

Day 1

Arrival, pickup by bus to hotel

Arrive in Kathmandu the first day and head to the hotel. Namaste, welcome to Nepal. Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, a representative of HAN will meet you and send you to the hotel. After a brief update, we will briefly describe the itinerary of the next day. We will spend the night at the hotel.

Day 2

Sightseeing city, local guided tour

Excursions in Kathmandu the next day. After breakfast, visit Kathmandu. These include UNESCO World Heritage sites: Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath and Bouddhanath. End the trip and drive back to the hotel. We will spend the night at the hotel. B, A)

Day 3

Drive From Kathmandu to Pokhara and transfer to Sarangkot.

Drive on the Prithvi highway to Pokhara, about 6 hours away. As an option: you can fly directly from Kathmandu to Pokhara for half an hour. You can explore the panorama of the Himalayas on the right. Then continue to Sarangkot, a place surrounded by the Annapurna Himalayas. Enjoy the evergreen landscape of Sarangkot and its surroundings. We will spend the night at the hotel. (B, A)

Day 4

Enjoy the sunrise of the peaks of Annapurna and Pokhara on day

You have to get up early in the morning and enjoy the spectacular sunrise. Walk to the observation tower and enjoy the golden landscape of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Fishtail and Himchuli. Excited shouts, the paraglider caught your attention. You can enjoy paragliding according to your own interests. Or go to Pokhara, take a tour of Pokhara and visit places of interest. On a busy day, you can visit some of Pokhara's popular attractions. They include David Falls, Mahendra Caves and Seti River Canyon. Then drive back to the hotel. We will spend the night at the hotel. Day5

Drive to Chitwan National Park on day

From Pokhara, you can drive to Chitwan National Park and head to the hotel. It is a relaxing day, you can walk and enjoy the walk in the village of Tharu. We will spend the night at the hotel. (B, L, d, A)

Day 6

Jungle Safari Tour and Taru Cultural Attractions

After breakfast, head to the Chitwan Jungle Safari Tour. Activities include elephant safari through the jungle, bird watching, canoeing, jungle walks and much more. This is a wonderful trip to explore the wildlife, including the real Bengal tiger and the unicorn rhinoceros. Return to the hotel to take a break. We will spend the night at the hotel. (B, L, d, A)

Day 7

Drive from Chitwan to Kathmandu.

It takes approximately 6 hours by car from Chitwan to Kathmandu. Another option is to fly from Bharatpur to Kathmandu. Then, transfer to the hotel. If you prefer, you can stroll through the local market and buy souvenirs. We will spend the night at the hotel. (B, A)

Day8

Thanksgiving dinner and Thanksgiving dinner in Kathmandu (free).

We are happy to offer you Thanksgiving. The first is a free walking tour of Kathmandu (3 hours) and a dinner with the family. You can feel part of the family, not as a guest. We will spend the night at the hotel. (B, D, A)

Day 9

Exit the ninth day

. It's time to say goodbye. A representative of HAN will take you to the airport so that you can finally leave. We hope to serve you again and again. (B)

The adorable city tour & jungle safari I have ever made in my life.

After having the perfect communication with Binod I have organized my multi day’s tour to Nepal. She has addressed all my expectations. I had a brilliant guide called RAJ for Trek and Kiran for tour that looked after me throughout the trip and always kept me informed safe. I will for sure return again for another adventure as Kiran has given me all the information as a researcher perspective.
I would like to thank Himalayan Adventure Nepal for my Kathmandu, pokhara & chitwan tour organizing. Their efforts created a seamless experience that allowed us to enjoy the wonders of the Himalaya, the warmth of its people, and the rich cultural heritage of this majestic land which was fully undiscovered and new. Although this was considered a short trek, our guide, assistant guide, and porters all kept us well rested, hydrated, and motivated to make our daily trek manageable and enjoyable time in the jungle safari and city tour both. They were also very flexible in our planning and were able to make last minute adjustments to the schedule when we were ahead or behind pace. The contribution they have given from central office in Kathmandu was adorable for their assistance in making arrangements when were delayed at the start of the trip by a late season Monsoon.
