Mera Expedition is a trekking and climbing at high altitude. Participants must adapt and be familiar with the use of hail and crampons. Instructions for using them will be provided at the base camp, near Mera if necessary. It is a significant experience as it offers breathtaking views of Nepal, as well as the east side of Kangchenjunga and Makalu and Mount Everest and the Nuptse appear in large areas south of the northern part of the Lhotse.<\/p>\n

    Accommodations<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

    We will be staying at 3 star hotels in Pokhara and Kathmandu and teahouses during the trek. All accommodations are on twin-shared basis. And Single supplement will be served on request and will have additional cost. We will have rooms with attached washrooms in most parts of the trek but according to place it can be afforded. In higher elevations single rooms are not available like in Kathmandu and the lower elevation regions but Mountain Expedition Nepal<\/strong> will do our best for your happiness.<\/p>\n

    Meals<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

    All meals will be served during hiking, while Kathmandu and Pokhara only offer breakfast. The hotel will also offer welcome and farewell dinner. The most common dishes on most menus are Nepalese, Tibetan, Indian and the most common Continental.<\/p>\n

    Can I accomplish this trek?<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

    Though Mera peak is technical and more challenging you still need more stamina, however having some knowledge on using climbing equipments will still be an asset. There will also be a pre -ice climbing training for participants in the Mera Peak. The training will mostly be about using climbing gears such as ropes, ice pick, harness, crampons.<\/p>\n

    There are two dimensions for the Mera Peak climbing Adventure regarding its preparation g .Normally you need 5-6 hours of walking every day. In the summiting day however, you will be required to walk for up to for 10-12 hours. EMEN<\/strong> advice\u00a0\u00a0 you to prepare yourself by jogging 12 km every day for around 3 months before\u00a0 you start your trip. Your pre-existing medical conditions are very important such as heart, lung, and blood diseases to consult their doctor before taking the trip and you need to inform us before booking.<\/p>\n

    Best Time to Travel<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

    Autumn (Sept. to Nov.) and spring (March to May) are the best seasons for this trek. If you have some other time than this we can customize and make the trip viable.<\/p>\n
