In higher elevations, single rooms are not available like in Kathmandu and the lower elevation regions but Everest Mountain Expedition Nepal will do our best for your happiness.<\/p>\n All meals will be served during hiking, while Kathmandu and Pokhara only offer breakfast. The hotel will also offer a welcome and farewell dinner. The most common dishes on most menus are Nepalese, Tibetan, Indian, and the most common Continental.<\/p>\n Though Island Peak is not so technical and more challenging you still need more stamina, however having some knowledge of using climbing equipment will still be an asset. There will also be pre-ice climbing training for participants in the Island Peak base camp. The training will mostly be about using climbing gears such as ropes, ice picks, harnesses, and crampons.<\/p>\n There are two dimensions for the Island Peak climbing. Normally you need 5-6 hours of walking every day. On the summiting day, however, you will be required to walk for up to 10-12 hours. Everest Mountain Expedition Nepal advises you to prepare yourself by jogging 12 km every day for around 3 months before you start your trip.
