Accommodation
We will stay in a three-star hotel, located in Kathmandu and the tea house during hiking. All accommodations are shared by two people. Single room will be available based on the additional charge. The Mountain Expedition Nepal will organize rooms with private bathrooms. However, tea houses in some places have only shared toilets. It’s easy to find individual rooms in Kathmandu and low trekking trails, but can be difficult to find at higher altitudes.
Meals
On our trek, we can enjoy authentic Nepalese cuisine and the most common international cuisine (Tibet, continent, Italy, India, etc.). Breakfast and dinner will be served at the tea house or the house menu, where we will spend the night and lunch will be served on the way to the next destination. All meals will be served during the trek and at Kathmandu, only breakfast will be served. The hotel will also offer welcome and farewell dinner for the guest.
Is it possible for me?
Gokyo to Everest Base Camp Trek is highly demanding trek but suitable for passionate walkers who have the ability to walk at least 5-6 hours a day with a light rucksack.at least the trekker need to be prepared physically and mentally as you might even need to walk 8 to 9 hours each day. Walking in higher altitude is more physically demanding than walking in the lower altitudes; however, if we have good health with average physical fitness, positive attitude, self-confidence and strong determination, we can accomplish the trek successfully. It will be better to have exercised and jogging regularly before embark on the trek to enhance our strength and stability. Past hiking experience is preferred but no technical skill is required. It is important that we consult with our doctor before booking this trek. Participants with pre-existing medical conditions such as heart, lung, and blood disease should inform Himalayan Adventure Nepal before booking the trek.

Adrian Embleton –
I have a dream to go to Nepal especially Himalaya for long years to do adventure trekking. Finally, it happens to me with my wife. Initially, it was difficult to find a tour and trekking company who operate a reasonable price with the best trustworthy services. We had lots of research and came across the Mountain Expedition Nepal among other lots of different operations. We never looked back as Bhim sorted everything out for us and ensured that we plan well and properly before reaching at Nepal by best responding our each and every query.
Once we landed at Kathmandu perfect welcome at the airport by our guide Pemba Sherpa and he was fantastic since picked up us to depart from Kathmandu. He is not only good care of us as ensuring always comfortable accommodation, feeding well food and water, but he also has vast knowledge about history, culture, religion and extensive mountaineering skills as well. All those sharing knowledge and caring with great humor is his quality guiding capacity. So, that makes our whole trip more enjoyable as we didn’t feel spending time for more than two weeks. Although his team including six helpers (I can’t even remember all name and spell correctly about these guys) to carry our luggage and two assist guide (Lahkpa Sherpa and Arjun Rai) are always superb with great hospitality and helpful.
We did Everest Base Camp Trek via Gokyo Valley and Chola Pass as once we landed at Kathmandu joining with different people from a different country. Which Bhim already mentioned to us by emailing. It was an absolutely stunning trip, friendly local people, culture, landscape, snowcapped mountains, and Chola Pass was a demanding but outstanding trek ever in my life. Real-life experiences and trekking challenges keep reminding the Himalayas. I wish I could keep going back again and again.
Overall, a fabulous experience and journey with best a companion team. Thank you all MEN team. I hope we will see you again for your next adventure. Namaste!
