While we strive to provide rooms with private bathrooms where possible, teahouses at higher elevations often have shared toilet facilities. The Everest Base Camp Trek via Jiri is a difficult and highly demanding trek, suitable for passionate walkers who have the ability to walk at least 5-6 hours a day with a light rucksack. Trekkers should be prepared physically and mentally, as some days may require walking 8 to 9 hours. Walking at higher altitudes is more physically demanding than at lower elevations; however, with good health, average physical fitness, a positive attitude, self-confidence, and strong determination, this trek is achievable. We highly recommend starting a regular jogging and intensive exercising regimen at least a month prior to the trek to enhance your strength and stability. While past hiking experience is preferred, no technical climbing skills are required. It is crucial to consult with your doctor before booking this trek. Participants with pre-existing medical conditions such as heart, lung, or blood diseases should inform EMEN  prior to booking.

Our representative will meet you outside the terminal. Look at our Treks and Expeditions cards. Transfer to the hotel, enter your hiking guide and review the essential points. In the afternoon, walk through the colorful Thamel market and explore the aura of city and nightlife. We will spend the night at the boutique hotel for breakfast

After breakfast, head to the Pashupatinath Temple for a World Heritage Excursion – the most sacred Hindu temple on the Bagmati River, Bodhanath Stupa – the largest Buddhist stupa building in the world! Patan Durbar Square is the oldest city in the Kathmandu Valley and the ancient tradition is known as the art city of Lalitpur. They visited the Durbar Square, the Krishna Temple, the Kumbheswore Temple, the Golden Temple and many more. Stupa of Swayambhunath: the legendary stupa of 2000 on the hill is also known as the Temple of the Apes. Your day trip will end at the Durbar Square in Kathmandu and show the goddess of life Kumari Temple, Nautale Durbar, Kaal Bhairav, Swet Bhairav, Freak Street and much more. We will spend the night at the boutique hotel for breakfast.

Drive 3 hours in the morning with the Kathmandu / Kodali highway (entry point to the land of Tibet) and follow the road that collapsed towards Mude (3540m) through the Sun Koshi River. This is a scenic walk along the terraces, typical villages and panoramic views of the eastern Himalayas, including the Himal Ganesh, Lantang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa and more snow-capped mountains. Finally, a long and scenic bus ride arrives at Shivalaya, a small town on a river. We will spend the night at the hotel in Shivalaya.

Starting from Shivalaya, this route passes through a stream and then begins a steep climb to the next Sangbadanda at 2,150 meters. The climbing continues with so few steep but large but boisterous houses. The trail climbed abruptly to another teashop in Mabhir in the forest, through another stream, and finally climbed 2705m Deurali. This pass is now entering a region donated by the Tibetan culture due to the impressive variety of long walls of Mani, including the beautiful mountains, although very close. You can see the panoramic view of the Likhu Khola valley and Bhandar, a large Sherpa settlement located below the cliff valley. The trail descended approximately two hours to reach our destination Bhandar. We will spend the night at the Bhandar hotel.

From the town square in Bhandar, follow the lowlands of the village and follow a small stream. It passes through the current and through the depths of the forest. The road passes through the wooden bridge of 2610 meters in Junbes Khola. This is the scheduled adaptation day for the hike. Acute mountain sickness (AMS) and health experts recommend at least one more night. Stay active and wander instead of being lazy. The Namche Bazar offers ATMs, cybercafes, fast food restaurants, bakeries and colorful markets every Friday night and Saturday morning. A day trip to visit the Sagarmatha (Everest) Visitors Center of the National Park of the hills, where you can observe the appearance of the first Everest, all kinds of things related to the Sherpa culture, and understand the life of various plants and animals in the Everest region. Then, entertain the environment of adaptation in the great traditional Sherpa village of Khumjung in Thamserku, Khaantaiga, Ama Dablam, Mount Everest and other landscapes. Return to Namche Bazar at night. We can hike to Thame north of Namche Bazar, pass Ngangpa La (5 hours, round trip) and enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayas, which are not on the EBC route.

The trail leads to breathtaking views of Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Imja Glacier and east of the Imjatse valley. Although the walk is gradually increasing, as the altitude slowly increases towards Chhukung, you will feel the fine air. We will have lunch in Chukung and we will see the tranquility of the Imjatse valley, the glaciers and the Himalays. Return to Ding Boche in the afternoon and overnight.

The trail climbs the ridge, imposing views of Tawache and Cholatse. The trail continues through the yak ranch to Dhukla (4620/15158 feet) and passes through a wooden bridge over the roaring brook.
