Langtang Valley Tour by Helicopter Overview

From Kathmandu, Langtang Heli Tour is the closest mountain. Going to Langtang Scenic Aircraft is also considered one of the most beautiful landscapes in the Himalayas.

Langtang Helicopter tour takes off from Kathmandu airport, north of Langtang mountain range, where you can enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery. You fly over Lake Gosainkunda Lake, different Tamang village located on a beautiful terrace. The landscape is really amazing and wonderful. Flight from Kathmandu airport to Kyanjin Gompa, which is a sub-culture of the Tibet valley, with views of the mountains, you will get Max. 20 minutes from tea/breakfast. Lasts longer would be a serious threat to the height.

The trip lasts an hour and a half in total.

Day to Day Itinerary

  • Early Morning:
    • Pickup from hotel in Kathmandu and transfer to Kathmandu Airport.
  • Flight to Langtang Valley:
    • Depart from Kathmandu on a scenic helicopter ride toward Langtang Valley.
    • Enjoy panoramic aerial views of the Langtang mountain range and lush landscapes.
  • Landing at Kyanjin Gompa (20-30 minutes):
    • Disembark and explore the surroundings of Kyanjin Gompa (3,870 m), with stunning views of Langtang Lirung and surrounding peaks.
    • Take photos and experience the high-altitude ambiance.
  • Return Flight to Kathmandu:
    • Board the helicopter for a scenic return flight to Kathmandu.
  • Arrival in Kathmandu:
    • Transfer back to your hotel in Kathmandu.

Note: The entire trip takes approximately an hour and a half in total, including ground transportation, flight time, and landing in Langtang Valley.

  • We have daily departures for this trip from March to May and from mid-September to mid-December. You can type in the number of passengers to book a reservation and select a date that is convenient for you. Due to group size, we never cancel a trip once you’ve made a reservation. If you would rather join the group, we will add more travelers on the selected date. You can let us know once you make a reservation or earlier.
