Kathmandu to Muktinath Jeep Tour Overview

Embark on a spiritual and adventurous 4-day Muktinath Jeep Tour, starting conveniently from either Kathmandu or Pokhara. This journey takes you to the revered Muktinath Temple, nestled at an impressive altitude of 3,800 meters (12,467 feet) amidst the breathtaking Annapurna Himalayas.

Muktinath Temple: A Symbol of Salvation

Muktinath is a highly significant pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists. Known as the “god of salvation,” devotees flock here to seek spiritual purification. The main ritual involves taking a holy bath under the 108 sacred water spouts (Mukti Dhara) surrounding the temple, followed by a dip in the two holy ponds (Mukti Kunda and Saraswati Kunda) in front of the main shrine. It is widely believed that this ritual bath washes away all sins, leading to liberation.

From Kathmandu to Tatopani (330 km – 10 hours). Overnight at a local tea house.

Travel to Muktinath (70 km – 7 hours). Overnight at a local tea house.

Return to Pokhara (200 km – 10 hours). Overnight at the hotel.

Visit Pokhara and return to Kathmandu through the Manakamana Temple. Overnight in Hotel.

You can type in the number of passengers to book a reservation and select a date that is convenient for you. Due to group size, we never cancel a trip once you’ve made a reservation.
