19 Days Pisang Peak Climbing Overview

When climbing to the top of Pisang Peak, you can admire the breathtaking views of the mountains and the Manang Valley. If you are looking to climb the peak in Annapurna, Nepal, the Pisang Summit is the most expedition in a particular area of Nepal. Pisang is a pyramidal peak that is distributed evenly over the yak grass and the village of Pisang. The steep peaks of ice rock are very technical. However, it offers the best views of Annapurna, Tilicho, Gangapurna and other glaciers in the area, as well as the isolated Manang valley. In a certain sense, the climbing trip is spiritual, we will find a variety of monasteries, pagodas and pagodas, and the most important thing is to go to Muktinath on the way.

If you want to experience the original attraction of the mountains by climbing the peaks, learn to manage the crests and the fixed ropes while crossing the rocky face of Pisang Peak. While climbing is challenging and demanding, the same is true for the spectacular views that you see when you reach the top. This is a reward for your hard work. The climbing peak is not limited to the climbing peaks; it is an experience that allows you to enjoy buffet food in a tent. Your climbing trip depends on the weather and can vary from 8 to 12 hours. To climb the Pisang Mountain, you must be healthy and pay attention to the few climbing techniques.

Accommodations

We will be staying at 3-star hotels in Pokhara and Kathmandu and teahouses during the trek. All accommodations are on twin-shared basis. And Single supplement will be served on request and will have additional cost. We will have rooms with attached washrooms in most parts of the trek but according to place it can be afforded. In higher elevations single rooms are not available like in Kathmandu and the lower elevation regions but Himalayan Adventure Nepal will do our best for your happiness.

Meals

All meals will be served during hiking, while Kathmandu and Pokhara only offer breakfast. The hotel will also offer welcome and farewell dinner. The most common dishes on most menus are Nepalese, Tibetan, Indian and the most common Continental.

Can I accomplish this trek?

Though Pinang Peak climbing is technical and more challenging you still need more stamina, however having some knowledge on using climbing equipments will still be an asset. There will also be a pre -ice climbing training for participants in the   Pisang Peak. The training will mostly be about using climbing gears such as ropes, ice pick, harness, crampons.

There are two dimensions for the Island Peak climbing. Normally you need 5-6 hours of walking every day. In the summiting day however, you will be required to walk for up to for 10-12 hours. Himalayan Adventure Nepal advice   you to prepare yourself by jogging 12 km every day for around 3 months before you start your trip. Your pre-existing medical conditions are very important such as heart, lung, and blood diseases to consult their doctor before taking the trip and you need to inform us before booking.

Best Time to Travel

Autumn (Sept. to Nov.) and spring (March to May) are the best seasons for this trek. If you have some other time than this, we can customize and make the trip viable.

The trail further passes near the small village of Ghunsa, a cluster of flat mud roofs just below the trailhead. Now the trail goes through meadows where horses and yaks graze. After crossing a small river on a wooden bridge, the trail passes an ancient old Mani wall in a pleasant meadow and then reaches another small village of Yak Kharka. Little but Gradual ascent is the key to avoiding altitude problems. Overnight at Guesthouse, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included.

We make our way to the foot of the pass, Throng Phedi today. Thorong Phedi is a small busy settlement catering to the needs of tired trekkers and climbers. Trekkers like us use this point as a base camp. Some visitors also attempt a hike to the High Camp today so that the next day can be easier for them. But, Himalayan Glacier’s team leader does not advise for this. Although we will have a tough day tomorrow, we stop at Thorong Phedi so that we can sleep sound rather than a risky sleep in higher altitude at High Camp. Overnight at Thorong Phedi. Overnight at Guesthouse, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included.

Today, early in the morning, we start our climb to the pass. The initial stage of the ascend is very steep. As we approach the peak it becomes much sloppier. Looking back, we can view several peaks of Annapurna and in front of us is the unfathomable gorge of Kali Gandaki.
