Day to Day Itinerary
Expand all

Includes lunch and dinner. Leaving Chhukung, we will walk along a path that gradually rises to the upper Imja Valley. We will appreciate the spectacular views of Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Nuptse, Island Peak and other surrounding peaks. Our hard journey continued until we arrived at the Island Peak Base camp. We will install camps at the foot of the Island Peak ridge below the giant wall of Nuptse and Lhotse (5,087 m). Spend the night in the store.

Today is the day we have been waiting for because we have climbed the island and reached its peak. We are fully equipped in advance and adapted to the environment, with the aim of reaching the top of the mountain before noon. Especially strong winds after noon can cause obstacles when reaching the summit. Under the guidance and direction of our experienced Sherpa climbers, we will handle various technical parts and go to the top. At the top, we will get a magnificent view of Lhotse, Makalu, Lhotse Mid-peak, Lhotse, Mt Nuptse. , Mt Baruntse and other surrounding peaks. We will spend a short and high quality time at the top of Island Peak and then descend to the base camp for approximately 10 hours along the same route.

After successfully conquering the summit, we took the time to return to the trek, review our steps, follow the stony path and finally return to Chhukung. When we arrived at Chhukung, we could wash off the sweat and fatigue. Go for a walk.

As we pass through the rocky ravines in the morning, we begin to climb. This is not difficult, but you must climb a few rock stairs before the right side of the drain. This route extends along a ridge that leads to the nose of the glaciers of the summit, stimulating and revealing rays. You will have to provide a rope for the glacier because it contains several cracks, but it can be guided to the slope of snow and ice of 100 m / 330 feet (40-45 degrees) without difficulty, the rail will fix the rope. From the top of this slope, the length of the three cords along the crest of the apex leads to the top. You can successfully enjoy and climb bravely to the top, after which, some beautiful landscapes will continue to fall on Chhukung during the night. After the last start of the trip, after that, once again you will be your own trip back to Lukla.

Our team guides, porters and accompanying staff are locals with a broad knowledge about each and every location that we travel through.
