From Indian mythology, Lord Krishna likes to tease the girl (Cropis) by splashing water and color.

People usually celebrate redness by applying different colors of powder on their faces, splashing colored water, celebrating parties, dancing to traditional music, drinking traditional drinks and Bhaang (a paste made from hemp plants) mixed with lassi. Section during Holi different types of sweets were made, but the main sweets were “Gujhiya” made from dry powdered milk and crushed walnuts. During the Holi festival, they dance and enjoy different foods. It is recommended to wear old clothes in Holi, since you will eventually get water, paint and different colors on you and your clothes.
